Course Outline:
The Year 13 Accounting Course involves study at a greater depth of Accounting Theory, Accounting Systems for Partnerships, Companies and Manufacturing concerns as well as Accounting Information for Management. There is a small computing component included in this course.

This subject can be continued at University as part of a Commerce or Business Studies Degree (in some cases a Stage I Paper can be accredited to you if your Bursary marks are good). The Technical Institute of New Zealand and the New Zealand Society Accountants offer Diplomas and courses in Accounting of Business Management. Accounting forms the basis of many occupations such as:
