Level 1 Art achievement standards total 18 credits.
OR Level 1 literacy with evidence of your ability to work on individual assignments independently on site and off.
Course Outline:
Three visual Art Achievement Standards are completed at Level 2. They provide the framework for a cohesive years study.
Assessment Outline:
2.1 and 2.2 are internal units (work book submissions)
2.3 is an external unit (two panel folio)
Out of Class Expectations and Commitments
Regular homework of 2-3 hours per week in Terms 1 and 2, decreasing in Term 3. Course completion Week 5, Term 4.
Where Does It Lead?
Practical Art Year 12 leads on to Year 13 Art. You are strongly advised to take this subject in Year 12, if you intend to further a career in Art or a related career.
