Course Outline:
This year the Design Process is accentuated. Students are given a range of specific problems to solve and within these solutions they must demonstrate their graphic communication and technical skills.
Assessment Outline:
Up to 24 credits can be gained through seven National Achievement Standards.
Where Does It Lead?
Students who participate in this course gain a greater understanding of the design process and in particular, the presentation and evaluation of their solutions. Graphics continues on into Years 12 and 13. For some this course may lead to Design School, Draughting, Architecture or a range of career opportunities in interior design, textile, trade, electronics at the same time enhancing every individual’s ability to communicate concisely.
