Special Costs:  $10 includes Visual Diary and Printing Costs – Visual Diary bought through school at a discounted rate



Entry Requirements:

Year 11 ICT is primarily for those students who have completed ICT in Year 10.  It has been designed to further develop the use of the computer as a tool for either personal or vocational use.  Special consideration will be given to students who did not choose ICT in Year 10, but are able to demonstrate a STRONG ability in computer applications.


Course Outline:

Students will follow the Information Management matrix alongside Unit Standards. Students will explore/use a combination of Microsoft and Apple programmes to produce effective outcomes.


Assessment Outline:

Achievement Standards (AS) and Unit Standards (US) will be offered.  Students will be able to gain credits in a selection of these standards to gain NCEA Level 1.




































Where Does It Lead?

ICT – Year 12 & 13 – students move in a different direction and include more focus with  InDesign and Photoshop.
