Course Outline:
Students will develop their performance, composition and general musicianship skills by exploring a wide range of musical styles and genres.

It is expected that students studying music should:
1.be learning an instrument and practicing it at home
2.be involved in music groups at school
3.attend field trips and rehearsals when required
Where Does it Lead?
Music education develops literacy and numeracy skills. It also develops cognitive, presentation and communication skills. These are applicable to all areas of employment. Music can be studied as a tertiary subject.
